- PREFAFRANCE modular concrete substation (2 transformers) → €10,000 to €15,000 excl. VAT (depending on configuration and chosen options)
- PREFAFRANCE HTA/LV connection (power > 160 kVA) → €14,000 to over €30,000 depending on location, power rating and network complexity
- Ten-year maintenance → €400 to €600 for preventive maintenance of PREFAFRANCE equipment
Installation Timescales
Thanks to factory prefabrication, the timescales offered by PREFAFRANCE are particularly short:
- PREFAFRANCE factory production: 2 to 12 weeks depending on order book and equipment level
- Installation & connection on site: 2 to 5 days (up to 7 days for modular substations)
- Studies and administrative procedures (Enedis/RTE): 2 to 8 weeks
- Civil engineering preparation (slab, earthworks, access): 1 to 3 weeks
Overall duration of a PREFAFRANCE project: 2 weeks to 2–3 months, of which only a few days are for the actual installation.
