Regulatory Compliance
& Certifications

Every BÉTONBLOK substation undergoes dual CONSUEL and ENEDIS validation before any commissioning. Compliance is not an option — it is our starting point.

Certified high voltage power network
"Our BÉTONBLOK substations are delivered with CONSUEL certification and undergo a complete technical validation by ENEDIS teams before connection. Two independent levels of control for risk-free commissioning."
— PREFA FRANCE quality approach

Six levels ofexcellence

Each certification corresponds to a precise commitment, verified by an independent body or by ENEDIS itself.

French standard

NF C 13-100

The NF C 13-100 standard defines the safety requirements applicable to category A high voltage (HV) delivery substations. All our BÉTONBLOK substations are designed, manufactured and delivered in full compliance with this standard.

Applicable to: Standard & Custom Range

French standard

NF C 13-200

The NF C 13-200 standard governs high voltage electrical installations. It sets the design, construction and operation rules for HV installations. Our internal equipment, cabling and cells provided in each BÉTONBLOK comply with all these requirements.

Applicable to: Integrated HV equipment

Certificate of conformity

CONSUEL

The French National Committee for the Safety of Electricity Users issues a certificate of conformity for each installation. PREFA FRANCE fully manages the CONSUEL procedure — file preparation, inspection, resolution of any issues — without any involvement required from you.

Mandatory before commissioning

Official partner

ENEDIS

PREFA FRANCE is an official partner of ENEDIS for the supply of transformer substations connected to the public distribution network. Our equipment is approved and our commissioning procedures comply with ENEDIS technical requirements.

Standard Range: public network connection

Fire safety

Safety Commission

For substations installed in public buildings (ERP) or high-rise buildings (IGH), a safety commission opinion is mandatory. PREFA FRANCE compiles and monitors the submission file.

Intellectual property

BÉTONBLOK Patented System

The BÉTONBLOK construction system is protected by a registered patent. This patent covers the manufacturing process, the method of integrating equipment in the factory and the installation system.

Requirements beyond standards

Complying with standards is a legal obligation. At PREFA FRANCE, we consider that standards define the acceptable minimum — not our level of ambition.

Each substation undergoes an internal quality control protocol that exceeds regulatory requirements: systematic dielectric tests, earth continuity checks, lock controls, visual inspection point by point according to a 47-criteria checklist.

Our electrical equipment is sourced exclusively from ENEDIS-approved manufacturers. No compromise on traceability or the origin of materials.

Because reliability is not an option,
we make it our standard.

47 control points

Systematic internal checklist before each dispatch. Each point is documented and archived.

Traced materials

Each integrated item of equipment is referenced, dated and traceable. Manufacturing file handed over at delivery.

Approved suppliers

HV cells, transformers and LV equipment: only from ENEDIS-approved manufacturers.

Logistics & on-site installation

The quality of our substations extends to the rigour of their implementation. Here is what our delivery process involves in practice.

Transport & Installation

Delivery by flatbed semi-trailer. Crane installation on concrete raft prepared to our plans. Installation time: half a day.

Civil engineering

The client prepares the raft slab in accordance with our dimensional plans provided at the time of order. No additional masonry required.

Dimensional plans

Excavation, raft and layout plans provided after order. Compatible with all standard CAD software on the market.

Pre-site visit

Systematic technical visit before delivery: validation of access, installation conditions and raft conformity with our specifications.

Accessibility requirements for delivery

Criterion Specification Comment
Semi-trailer length Up to 13.60 m Standard road access required
Semi-trailer width 2,55 m Minimum lateral clearance 0.50 m
Vehicle height 4.00 m max Check passages under road bridges
Crane capacity According to substation size Supplied by the client or subcontracted by PREFA FRANCE
Required crane reach Variable depending on access Calculated during the pre-site visit
Stabilised crane area Load-bearing ground required Stabilisation plates if necessary
